Silent observation.
When we attempt to assign/apply/overlay meaning to anything in creation this “seems” to give ‘distinction to a part of the whole’ & therefore acts as the means by which mental activity seeks to “separate oneness.”
There is no difference in worthiness between the fleeting presence of a snowflake that will dissolve before it lands on the ground & a galaxy that will expand for over ten billion years.
There’s is no difference between the beggar on the street & the ruler of nations.
There is no difference without our “projection of meaning.”
This act of attempting to project meaning on to people, places, things & events has, at its core, the desire to make separate.
When everything is seen as one,
Equality cannot have a context.
No more than distinction can.
‘One’ is not a number that symbolises a quantity when there is no attempt to divide ‘One’ into component parts.
Tend to the garden
But refrain from naming the flowers.
Make provisions for the animals
But know all animals are one animal.
Take the child to your bosom
But know the pensioner is also the child.
Be parent to all things & be child to all things too.
Making distinctions between the singularity of creation is easily understood as a wrong minded activity when the distinctions are considered “negative or derogatory”
But how about if the distinctions are to elevate & attempt to give more meaning to some “parts” than others?
This is the same desire to reach the same outcome, except in this case it has become a dual-layered motivation.
A form of multiplication that attempts to make 1+1 equal more than 2.
Giving meaning to meaning.
Who would think that the thought “what a lovely day!” Is an attack upon creation?
Because this thought either singles out one day above all other days or it is a redundant statement of the obvious that could be interpreted as a recognition of perennial blandness.
Where is the context for saying “what an equally beautiful day to all other days” ?
Only in the abstinence from engaging in connecting with this desire altogether is a fruitful endeavour befitting of the silent observer.
We watch the mind attempt to make its assessments & calculations, but we don’t take ownership of this mental activity.
Only silent observation is required.
Everything is ‘as it is’ without the need for the mind to judge its worthiness.
Everything is total in its magnitude & magnificence.
‘Everything’ is “all things.”
“All things” are ‘Everything.’
‘Perfect oneness’ does not require distinction for its worth to be established.
Its worth is evident in its existence & you exist within the singularity of creation - Always at the heart, always at the centre.
The sum of its “parts” is ‘all parts’ when silently seen as ‘One.’
What need is there for distinction when attempts at division are understood as an erroneous motivation?
Silent observation is all that is required.
Refraining from ‘putting the key into the lock’ opens the way.
The way is open,
Has always been open,
Is the only way,
Requires nothing from you.
The presence of stillness itself recognises the connection of Perfect Oneness.
